Charles Kinard has been with ADP for 5 years as a Human Capital Management specialist working with organizations of all sizes and industries. Beth is in the Field Talent Acquisition department and has been with Whataburger for almost 5 years. She supports 68 restaurants with their recruiting needs inclusive of Managers and Team Members.
Tammy Ledyard is responsible for management recruiting for Pappas Restaurants, a family owned and operated company with 100+ restaurants in eight states. Based in Houston, Texas, Pappas has grown to include 12 popular concepts including Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen, Pappasito’s Cantina, Pappas Bros. Steakhouse, Pappas Seafood House, Pappas Bar-B-Q and Yia Yia Mary’s.
Tammy has over twenty years of operational experience with well-known companies such as Hillstone Restaurants and Big Four Restaurants in Arizona. Tammy sources, interviews and manages development for all managers within the Pappas Organization. She dually works in a management development role which allows her to work with Pappas managers during the training process and further through their continuing education with the company. In addition Tammy spends time maintaining relationships with hospitality schools nationwide. She is active in all aspects of the hospitality programs and presents often in the classrooms in order to help the students gain perspective on the industry.
Brian Medina has 20 years’ experience in Recruitment Advertising & Talent Acquisition strategy for the Restaurant Industry. He is key in driving candidate flow and improving the candidate experience for his clients. He uses traditional recruitment advertising sources and innovative sources including social recruiting, text to apply, job search engines and AI for finding candidates. He has spoken at the TRA Marketplace/TalentNet Live, Hardee’s/IHOP/Golden Corral/Fazoli’s/ Franchise conferences, and the Self Opportunty Meeting of the Minds restaurant recruiting conference in Dallas, led numerous training workshops for clients like Jason’s Deli, Red Lobster, and Raising Cane’s. He is currently on the board of the Greater Dallas Restaurant Association and Texas Restaurant Associations Education Foundation.
