The Texas Restaurant Association invites you to submit a proposal for an education session at 2019 TRA Marketplace. If selected as a speaker, you will gain visibility in the industry and contribute to the advancement of your profession. Your experience and perspective may help your peers answer their biggest questions, build their businesses and advance the field.
To be considered for 2019 TRA Marketplace, you must complete the proposal by February 1, 2019. Please review the submission guidelines before starting the submission process. Proposals are for consideration and completing one does not guarantee a session.

Selection Process and Policies
TRA Marketplace encourages speakers to provide attendees hand-outs or additional information useful during the session and post-TRA Marketplace. However, there is a strict non-commercial policy in place for speakers participating in the program:
Literature cannot be placed on the seats of the session. Materials can be provided to attendees as they file out of the room at the end of the session. Speakers are responsible for bringing their own materials.
No banners/posters/signage may be affixed to the walls at George R. Brown Convention Center. Distribution may not take place outside of the assigned session area or during the published sessiontime.
The deadline to submit a proposal for consideration is 11:59 p.m. Central, February 1, 2019. The TRA Marketplace Programming Team will review proposals and notify submitters of the proposal status in March 2019. Preference will be given to exhibiting companies and TRA members in good standing.
If you are selected as a speaker, TRA Marketplace is proud to provide you with significant exposure via pre-TRA Marketplace marketing materials; social media and other web-based information; on site TRA Marketplace materials; and various press opportunities related to the post-TRA Marketplace cycle.
In addition to brand and name recognition for your efforts, selected speakers will each receive one (1) complimentary badge to TRA Marketplace.
Unfortunately, honorariums, financial compensation and/or travel expenses cannot be subsidized by the Texas Restaurant Association.
