Caitlin Edwards is a Senior Manager of Market Operations at Grubhub, the nation’s leading online and mobile food ordering company. She oversees a team of market managers covering states in the South and Midwest, including Arkansas, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas. With over 14 years of experience in the restaurant industry, she began her career in restaurant delivery seven years ago as a Corporate Concierge for Dining In. She was promoted to General Manager of the Dining In Dallas market in 2012 and increased yearly sales to $6 million before they were acquired by Grubhub in 2015. Over the past three years she has helped grow Grubhub’s fast-growing delivery network, which has committed to reach more than 100 new markets this year.

Trent Patterson is the Director of Operations for Dish Society in Houston, Texas. He has worked in the restaurant industry for 16 years across several concepts. A college friend and he started Dish Society in 2013 out of frustration with access to approachable farm to table food. They will be opening the 5th location in November. He is a graduate of The University of Texas with a degree in Electrical Engineering.

As one of 249 Master Sommeliers in the world, George Miliotes is a passionate educator and curator of wines. A firm believer in education and knowledge-sharing, Miliotes continuously studies wine, identifying the most interesting wines through annual trips to wine-growing regions from France to South Africa. Building relationships with some of the best vintners in the world, he also takes an active role in the winemaking process helping to create custom blends.

Gini Quiroz heads up employee engagement at K&N Management, a licensed area developer of Rudy’s Country Store and Bar-B-Q and the creator and operator of Mighty Fine Burgers, Fries & Shakes. Overseeing training, development, communication and team member care, her role involves “anything to do with our team members,” from helping them manage their lives to their careers. K&N Management is one of only two restaurant operations to win the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, a prestigious, presidential recognition for organizational quality and performance excellence. They are also recipients of the Texas Award for Performance Excellence, and their vision is “to be the best restaurant operation in America.”

Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Lauren has a background in engineering, design and digital strategy. She is passionate about food, technology, and how they overlap.

Amanda Rose has been in the service industry since she was 16, where she started as a hostess for Sizzler in Southern California. She landed in Austin in 2016 by way of Mexico, the Bahamas, and Chicago. Having served and tended bar everywhere from island beaches to Halas Hall (the home of the Chicago Bears), she specializes in high-volume, high-energy service, which is why being a server trainer at Chuy’s is now the perfect fit for her.
